I am doing assignment#7 and im responding question 4a).

4a)the catagory that inspired me the most is we built.

The reason that i picked we built is because David Thomas inspired.

b)David Thompson filled in the empty map of the Canadian Northwest. At the age of 14, he came to Canada in service to the Hudson’s Bay Company. He worked for the two great fur-trading enterprises of his time, Thompson walked, rode or canoed through the wilderness for three decades and surveyed millions of square kilometres. And thats why he inspired me.

C)In your post, suggest three more influential Canadian personalities that could be added to this site. Why did you choose these people? Which categories would they fit into? Link to information about each of them.

One person I would add is Terry fox. I chose Terry Fox because he ran across canada and he had cancer and one of hes foot was fake because they had to give him a fake leg because he had cancer and he still ran across canada but he died because while he was running hes cancer came back.

Another person i would suggest is Jarome Iginla because he is a profesional hockey player that playes for the Calgary Flames. He was the first black person to become a captain for a hockey team.

One person i would suggest to the list is Steve Nash. I picked steve because he is one of my favoriote basketball players and he has won mvp award back to back year thats really impressing.

My African Canadian is Jarome Iginla. Jorme Iginla was born in 1977 in Edmonton, Alberta. He is a profesional hockey player and he is also the captian for the Calgary Flames for many years. Jarome Iginla became the first black captain for hockey in 2003-04. He helped canada win there first place goldon medal for 50 years in the 2002 winter olympics. He was named The western hockey league's player of the year when he was a junior in the Kamloops Blazers.

Iginla participates in numerous community events, and donates $2,000 to charity for each goal he scores. (Thats alot)

assignment#4

sam's blog I like sam's answer of assignment#3 because she said theres going to be cars that run on electricity and not on gas and that allready started a bit and she said theres going to be a black priminister and a gil priminister and also a girl president. I think those ideas are really good:) .


jordie's blog I liked what Jordie wrote on assignment#4 because he said there might not be any rules and ther might not be a priminister of canada and i think canada will be a disaster if theres not rules and if theres no priminister. So thats why i like what Jordie wrote

assignment #3

I think in 2109 there well be flying cars, thers going to be a building taller than the cn tower,
I think theres going to be pills that make you live longer untill like 135 years old. For internet I think theres going to be way better stuff like msn there might be like something better to talk on and most of all I think in the future the water amount of the lakes are going to go really low because everyones using water.
